Let's do a big sweet exhale and dive into a 90 minute fascial unwind practice. We might use some tune up balls, we might just use the wall, but whatever we do, we will come out feeling clearer, softer and stronger for the releases. 

This workshop will involve a deep dig into your tight fascia and some really replenishing time to relax, release and recharge.

Workshop: Finding The Ground Again (Part Two)

Is your uncertainty isolating you? Is anxiety holding you hostage on an ice floe? Anxiety is reaching epidemic proportions as more and more uncertainty and divisiveness arise. What remains when all of our familiar structures (our governments, jobs, relationships, and/or our health) are gone? How do we maintain hope and a sense of personal power when tomorrow is so unclear? I bet you are swirled and twisted into indecision, lack of focus, and yes, anxiety. 

While this is utterly understandable, none of this is actually necessary or inevitable, we have options. Through breathwork and body/mind practice, we can learn to be in this moment as opposed to stuck in the ‘what if’ of the future or the ‘if only’ of the past. If we think of this as a muscle that can be toned, strengthened and understood, we can harness the winds of our mind to create stability, confidence and even love. And, more importantly, we can fill our moments with the possibility of creating instead of worrying….

In this workshop series, I am going to guide you through simple yoga and breathwork techniques along with some philosophy to offer you practical ways to take your life back from anxiety. You will come away with useful tools for your daily kit of self-created peace skills. The first will focus on the lower back, hips, and pelvis to reconnect to the ground beneath us, Mama Earth. The second will focus on the upper back, neck, and shoulders to reduce the armour you are carrying. You are welcome to attend both, or just one!

The yoga will be taught as an all-levels class, so is suitable for all experience levels. It will be a balance of deep rest and some challenge. You will need a bolster, eye pillow, and a yoga strap.

$49/person + HST
